Coleen Rooney (née McLoughlin) is an English author, television personality, and businesswoman born on April 3rd 1986, in Liverpool, Merseyside. She grew up in the suburb of Croxteth as the eldest of four children and attended St John Bosco Arts College.She gained media attention as the teenage girlfriend of football star Wayne Rooney, whom she began dating at the age of 16. The couple married on June 12, 2008, in a lavish ceremony in Portofino, Italy, and have since had four sons named Kai, Klay, Kit, and Cass.Over the years, she built her own career by writing columns for celebrity magazines like Closer and OK!, and presenting the television show Coleen’s Real Women. She also authored a successful series of children’s books titled Coleen Style Queen and published an autobiography.In 2019, she became the centre of a massive viral news story after conducting a private investigation to discover who was leaking her personal Instagram stories to the press. Her famous social media reveal, which ended with the line “It’s ………Rebekah Vardy’s account,” led to a highly publicised High Court libel trial in 2022, which Rooney won, cementing her place in British pop culture history.
