Olivia Munn

Olivia Munn is an American actress, television host, and author born on July 3rd 1980 in Oklahoma City. Raised partly in Tokyo, Japan, where her stepfather was stationed in the military, she gained early media experience appearing in local theater and modeling before graduating with a degree in journalism and minor in Japanese dramatic arts from the University of Oklahoma.
She achieved her initial breakout fame in 2006 as a co-host on the gaming and pop-culture network G4, fronting the hit flagship show Attack of the Show!. Her quick wit and charismatic presence made her a beloved figure in geek culture, leading to a high-profile stint as a correspondent on Comedy Central’s The Daily Show with Jon Stewart and various roles in major modeling campaigns.
She successfully transitioned into mainstream Hollywood acting, earning widespread critical acclaim for her dramatic performance as economic analyst Sloan Sabbith in Aaron Sorkin’s political drama series The Newsroom. Her filmography quickly expanded with prominent roles in major cinematic releases, including Magic Mike, Deliver Us from Evil, The Predator, and portraying the mutant Psylocke in the superhero blockbuster X-Men: Apocalypse.
