Isabela Merced, previously known professionally as Isabela Moner, is an American actress and singer born on July 10, 2001, in Cleveland, Ohio. Proud of her Peruvian heritage through her mother, she made her Broadway debut at just ten years old in a production of Evita before transitioning into television as the star of the Nickelodeon series 100 Things to Do Before High School.She achieved her major Hollywood film breakthroughs by transitioning from television into big-budget cinematic productions. She earned widespread recognition for her roles as Izabella in the blockbuster Transformers: The Last Knight, the fierce target Isabela Reyes in the action thriller Sicario: Day of the Soldado, and the live-action portrayal of the iconic adventurer in Dora and the Lost City of Gold.In recent years, her career has experienced a massive surge with prominent roles in legendary cinematic universes and critically acclaimed projects. She starred in the romantic drama Turtles All the Way Down, joined the Spider-Man universe in Madame Web, and fought extraterrestrial threats in the sci-fi horror hit Alien: Romulus, alongside a highly successful career as a recording artist releasing bilingual pop music.Her global stardom reached even greater heights after joining some of the biggest franchises in the entertainment industry.
