Doutzen Kroes

Doutzen Kroes (born 23 January 1985 in Eastermar, Netherlands) began her modeling career in 2003 by sending amateur photos to an agency in Amsterdam. In 2005, she was voted “Model of the Year” by Vogue.com readers. She became a global ambassador for the cosmetics brand L’Oréal Paris in 2006. Between 2008 and 2014, she achieved major international fame as an official Victoria’s Secret Angel. She has walked the runways for top fashion houses including Versace, Gucci, Valentino, and Chanel. In 2011, she made her acting debut in Nova Zembla, the first Dutch 3D film. In 2017, she portrayed the Amazon warrior Venelia in the blockbuster movie Wonder Woman. She is actively involved in philanthropy as a global ambassador for the Knot On My Planet campaign, which works to protect elephants and end the ivory trade. In her personal life, she married Dutch DJ Sunnery James in 2010, and the couple has two children. Throughout her career, she has consistently ranked among the world’s highest-earning models on the Forbes charts.
